Roberto is a very good-looking, lovable dog looking for a new home.  He is at Animal Shelter of Northeast Nebraska, and is a male German shepherd/beagle mix who is 2 years old and 70 pounds of beautiful canine.  Roberto is a pretty chestnut and black color, and has a wonderful, intelligent face.  Employees at the shelter say that Roberto is a very smart dog who can even outsmart people.  He knows how to “sit” and is treat-motivated, which will be a plus in training him.  Robert likes people, and likes attention from human friends.  Roberto likes other dogs, but his reaction to children is unknown.  Shelter staff think that Roberto may get along successfully with cats, but cannot be sure.  Shelter employees say that he does need additional training in walking with a leash.  Roberto is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, all ready to go home with his person or people.  The shelter is at 1000 East Omaha Avenue, and the telephone is (402) 750-4665. This sharp dog needs an opportunity to find his forever home, so interested persons are cordially invited to visit the shelter to meet Roberto and spend some time with him.
